5x1 HDMI Switcher with Digital Audio Synchronizer

VizionWare's 5x1 HDMI™ Switcher, the VZ-S5100, is a beautifully-crafted, component-sized, rack mountable switcher with five HDMI™ inputs and a single HDMI output. Five inputs provide for the simultaneous connection of up to five HD video sources, such as satellite systems, High Definition DVD players and gaming platforms. The single output from the switcher transmits the HDMI A/V signals to the digital display. Both digital audio and high definition video for each source is accessed immediately when the unit makes the "switche".

Moreover, the VZ-S5100 switcher solves a major signal processing problem in today's current high definition digital installations: lip-sync error. Without audio lip-sync correction, the processing time it takes a display to scale and de-interlace video images may cause the displayed video to be out of sync with the audio, creating an effect much like a badly dubbed movie. Not so with VizionWare's VZ-S5100. Both audio and video are presented in perfect sync with one another.
