Up to four external analogue audio sources can be connected using this module. One of the inputs can even be configured for a record deck whilst another can be used as a tape input. The signal from the source that is currently being played or that from another source, can be sent to the audio output. Up to two of these modules can be integrated into Re:system M51 source management.
The module's inputs can be individually named in the Re:system M51 source management Setup so that instead of an anonymously named AUX2, you can enter something useful like SAT-Rec. or VCR or Playstation, for example. The input signal for each of these inputs can be equalised so that the volume doesn't have to be adjusted when switching between different sources.
