Interviewing Mike Beatty is an experience. Similar to a rollercoaster ride, you  and yourself both exhilarated and (pleasantly) drained by the time you shake hands and say your farewells. Mike never stops, you see: he’s something of a creative whirlwind.

One of our industry’s nice guys, Mike is never short of ideas, and an audience with him is always entertaining, as well as informative and rewarding. It’s no surprise that he and his team have been so successful. Mike started Pulse Marketing back in 2002, so the company is now in its eighth year. Having shrugged o a tricky 2006, Pulse is now one of many distributors having to look at things slightly di erently in the face of a worldwide recession. Not that Pulse has ever  irted with convention. The company is as maverick as its founder, o ering so much more than just distribution, and providing a ‘one-stop-shop’ and all-round install ‘service’ for its loyal dealer-installers. Pulse’s excellent reputation among dealers, installers and integrators has a lot to do with this service ideal. The company o ers class-leading distribution, specifying, marketing, training and cinema design – as well as support from its renowned team.
