In its first five years, Pulse Marketing hasn’t just put itself on the custom install map. Thanks to Pulse, we need a bigger map.

The company, while remaining small and flexible, has become one of the key points of contact for the custom installer. And much of that impact is down to Mike Beatty, the company’s managing director. Mike is in close contact with his dealers, he knows directly how difficult trading conditions have been of late. Using its flexibility the company is so well known for, Pulse radically adapted its ethos.

I guess about a year or so ago, we sat down and asked, ‘What do we need to do as a company, where is our time best spent… is it five hours on the road, spending just half an hour at each dealer? Or, should we work as a partner? Should we actually spend a lot of our time being proactive on behalf of the dealer?’ And that’s exactly what we’ve done over the past year. We’ve got some good partners across the country.
