The winners of the four awards' categories were selected from entires that came from technology specialist companies all over the country. The winners received their awards at the CEDIA Expo in London from a panel of judges including Diana Yakeley, chair of the BIDA, architect Julian Wilkinson and idFX edit Gary Mason.

There was also as award for the best supplier, which was voted for on-line by CEDIA members and won by Pulse Marketing
